2010 James Beard Awards, Final Nominees Announced

The final nominees for the 2010 James Beard Foundation Awards——the most prestigious restaurant awards of the year— have just been announced. There are over 50 categories, and interested parties can view the full list below. Some of the LA highlights include, Outstanding Chef (José Andrés, Tom Colicchio, Suzanne Goin), Best Chef, Pacific (Michael Cimarusti, Matt Molina). Jonathan Gold has also received two nominations for Distinguished Restaurant Reviews, and Writing on Spirits, Wine, or Beer.

The awards will be taking place this year on May 3 at Lincoln Center in NYC.
