Matt Biancaniello's Oscar Libations at the Roosevelt; OC Resto Week Extended; Planned Parenthood's Food Fair Event

HOLLYWOOD— The Oscars are just around the corner and the Roosevelt hotel is hosting a viewing party Sunday night. Screens will be set up in the lobby, Dakota, and 25 Degrees. Make sure to call head to reserve a spot, especially because mix-master-Matt Biancaniello (pictured right) has crafted one of his insane creative cocktail lists, this time dedicated to the Oscars. On offer: Up in the Air (Aviation Gin, Maraschino Liqueur, fresh lemon juice and Creme de Violette), The Hurt Locker (Breeder's Cup-Hendricks Gin, cucumber, lime, agave, beet horseradish and salt), Precious (Strawberries on Fire-Patron Silver, lime, lemon, strawberries, agave and jalapeno), Inglorious Basterds (10 Cane Old Fashioned-10 Cane Rum, sugar, bitters, lemon and orange peel), and Avatar (Saving Grace-Basil Hayden's bourbon, lemon, mint, Grand Marnier and ginger). OC— This is beginning to become a trend, but Orange County has also decided to extend their restaurant week. Additional dates run March 7-13, though not all restaurants from the previous week will participate. Make sure to check the website to see who is still playing. [EaterWire]

SANTA MONICA— Planned Parenthood's Food Fair is just around the corner. The March 11 event will feature local talent like AOC, AMMO, Il Grano, and Clementine among many others. For those that want to eat during the day, tix cost $125, for the nighttime festivities tix cost $175. [EaterWire]
