This is not a joke, or is it? LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant is suing the entire city of Kobe, Japan for naming rights of the beef and is also asking for back-compensation from the sale of the meat. According to Kobe's lawyer, "he has a very specific brand that he is trying to cultivate, and this beef doesn't exactly fall in line with that. In fact, I'm pretty sure the only reason it's so well regarded is because of its association with the 11 time All-Star." [LAW]
