Taste Of The Nation Hosts VIP Tasting Event

Share Our Strength, the organization seeking to end childhood hunger, has been hosting Taste of the Nation events across the country for 21 years. This year they put together a series of kick-off events as sort of TOTNLA teasers, all leading up to the event on June 6. There's that Taste of the Nation Happy Hour by The Foundry. And also that Tory Burch Shopping Event. But now, with a month and a half to go, they're bringing out the big guns.

Share Our Strength has just confirmed that Angeleno Magazine will be hosting Chefs Walter Manzke (formerly Church & State), Quinn Hatfield (Hatfield's) and Laurent Quenioux (Bistro LQ) at Snyder Diamond in Santa Monica for a live cooking and tasting menu event. The event will take place on May 11. Expect an announcement in a week or so on their blog at which point interested parties will be able to attempt to claim one of 100 tickets. (!!!) On Angeleno Magazine's mailing list? You'll get a shot at the tickets too. Once in, donation amounts will be suggested and, to get in the door, you'll have to plop down some cash.
