Squid Ink takes a sneak peek at Thirsty Crow and gets some new details on LA's newest cocktail-themed bar. This one features bourbon - small-batch and reserve bourbon to be exact. On the list is Pappy Van Winkle, a bourbon so rare, it can only be bought a few bottles at a time. Don't worry drinkers, Maker's Mark and other famous names are also available. "Bourbon maestro" Brandon Ristaino teamed up with co-owner Bobby Green to offer a range both tall and wide - and, it happens, cheap. "We're underpricing most of the other high-end whiskey bars in town," Green claims. For $10-12 for a shot you can drink some of the best bourbon available. "The bourbon market is exploding right now but the market hasn't caught up with the demand, so you can find a couple of real steals," says Ristaino. [LAW]
