Starbucks customers at over 1,000 cafes can pay for beverages with just the flash of an iPhone or iPod touch. Last year Starbucks launched a Starbucks Card Mobile App which allows customers to put money on a Starbucks card, then to make a purchase a barcode is displayed on the iPhone or iPod and scanned in the store. Next up? Expanding this payment system into Starbucks cafes located inside Target stores. [Computerworld]
