Fire Alarm Causes Anisette to Halt Service

New, 1 comment

Last night Anisette was forced to skip dinner service because the restaurant's fire alarm system was activated after the extinguisher system accidentally went off, though it's now 1PM and the restaurant is still closed. A call placed to the eatery brought word that a health inspection must be passed before reopening, and Anisette staff hope to serve by this evening. Fire marshals are inside the building right now. File this under rumormongering, but this commotion comes after months of speculations (from numerous sources) that Anisette is poised to shutter for good and that the restaurant has not paid bills, issued bounced checks, etc. As always, time will tell.
