In part two of Squid Ink's interview with Marcel Vigneron, the chef explains the premise of his new SyFy show, Marcel's Quantum Kitchen: "Essentially it's about creativity and cooking and science and all those things... A little bit of MythBusters, a little bit of A Cook's Tour, a little bit of Alton Brown , kind of reality. All sorts of different things lumped together." Marcel also reveals that he recommended Hung Huynh and Michael Voltaggio to the Top Chef producers, and that in culinary school, he was Spike Mendelsohn's resident advisor.
