Extravaganza For the Senses, Tickets Now On Sale

Summer is the perfect time for food festivals. Coming up in June we have Taste of the Nation, and then a month later on July 17 comes Extravaganza For the Senses. Tickets went live on Tuesday, and though the fest is still months off, many restaurants, including newbies and past players, are already lined up to partake: Cafe Wa s, Milk, Delphine, Bombay Cafe, Minestraio, Pace, Valerie Confections, Boa, Takami, Sushi Roku, Chaya, Breadbar, The Palm, Street, and a slew of others. This year's 13th Annual Extravaganza for the Senses will be held at new home Sunset Gower Studios and if you buy a general admission ticket before July 1 the price is a mere $80, otherwise the price jumps back up to $100, likewise VIP admission is $200 until July 1, then raises to $225. Sure, everybody is trying to save a buck here and there but $80 really isn't so much considering your bill at one of the aforementioned restaurants could cost as much, plus it's all for a good cause: The Saban Free Clinic provides free medical and dental care to the uninsured and working poor. Anyway, we'll also do a ticket giveaway like last year so stay tuned for that coming soon. [EaterWire]
