The Tar Pit Appoints David Kupchinsky As New Bar Manager

Mark Peel and Audrey Saunders' Tar Pit has been the talk of town for quite some time, but just two months after opening came word that mix-master Audrey had already left the lounge-y restaurant cum cocktail abode. Daily Dish reported that Marcos Tello would take over where Queen Audrey left off, then published a follow-up writing that Tello might not, in fact, take over. Anyway, as of today, David Kupchinsky, who has worked under mixologist Julian Cox while at Comme Ca, now maintains the title as Bar Manager and launches his new spring cocktail menu today.
