On Saturday four were killed inside a Valley Village restaurant called Hot Spot Cafe when gunfire broke out. Details are still sketchy, but police are calling the act "intentional" and believe the shooting could have ties to the Armenian mafia or another gang. An early report suggested that a 30-year old Armenian man walked into the cafe at 4:40 with a gun and shot the victims who were allegedly eating after a funeral.
Neighboring businesses claim nobody ever entered or left the mom-and-pop restaurant other than guests at private parties that were held from time to time. Owner Artour Balian also shares that the restaurant had tinted windows and soundproof walls. Because that's totally normal...
