Waterloo & City Nears Completion, Opening (Hopefully) at End of April, Preview The Menu Here

New, 23 comments

The gentlemen behind the forthcoming Waterloo & City are ready. Well, just about. They’re hoping to soft open in time for Brit Week at the end of April and the colorful space is coming along. The photos from the beginning of February showed a dusty construction site hinting at the future design. Here now, the funky reveal. The front door has been painted bright red, the blue-topped bar stools are set up along the communal dining table, and the blue and white toile wallpaper is in place. The French meets British gastropub menu is complete and the two men at the helm, Carolos Tomazos and chef Brendan Collins are excited about their wine and beer program.

Expect ten beers on draught and a wine list that runs the gamut from staples to more eccentric choices and, in the interest of keeping it all in the family, their marketplace in the back will stock all of your favorite wines and accoutrements from the restaurant. And, speaking of, while Waterloo & City should open later this month, the market shall debut about a month later.
