Whoa, that was fast, and frankly, considering how many trucks are out on the streets right now, it's pretty shocking that this hasn't happened already. Less than six months after inception, Asian Soul Kitchen bites the dust. The old-fashioned Japanese comfort food truck posted a note on its website saying:
"We regret to inform you that the Asian Soul Kitchen truck will no longer be in service. The journey for us has been incredible this last year and a great learning experience for all of us here on the team. It’s been such a sight to witness the food truck community grow around us and we made so many lifelong friendships in the process..."Anyway, sad news in the food truck community. Does the great froyo melt of 2008 and 2009 portend the inevitable future for the zillions of food trucks flooding our streets? [EaterWire]
