El Pollo Fino Owner Busted For Chicken Fights

New, 5 comments

The owner of El Pollo Fino, an Anaheim chicken restaurant, is in the hot seat after San Diego County animal services investigators uncovered 600 knives, fighting spurs, and 800 roosters bred to fight. Cockfighting is illegal in the US, and all birds were euthanized. When authorities tried to reach the unidentified restaurant owner, he refused to give up his location stating that he wanted to speak with his attorney first. He "faces misdemeanor charges for every knife found in his possession and misdemeanor charges for possession of birds with intent to fight them," according to the Orange County Register. Now, the question everyone is wondering: Did those loser chickens get served?
