1) Venice: Yo! Venice! reports that the discount furniture store at Abbot Kinney and South Venice has plans to relocate and will be superseded by a wine bar at the end of this month. [Yo! Venice!]

2) Beverly Hills: Downtown's fast casual Indian concept, Saffron, is in expansion mode. The cafe, "Imagine Chipotle – only with Indian food," is actually seeking an Assistant Manager for its new Beverly Hills outpost. [Craigslist]

3) Temecula: The Lazy Dog Cafe chain is also in expansion mode. Next up, the eatery will open at the Promenade in Temecula. [EaterWire]

4) Mid-City: Moving into the old Mira'le space comes a new pie shop called simplethings. Think savory and sweet pies along with salads and sandwiches. [EaterWire]
