Jose Andres Heads to Vegas: Two Restaurants in the Works

New, 1 comment

Well, just about every other top chef has jumped on the bandwagon so it shouldn't be a huge shocker to hear that world famous culinary master and head honcho at The Bazaar, Jose Andres, has signed on to open not one but two restaurants inside the forthcoming Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas. He joins the lineup of previously confirmed restaurants also debuting within the hotel: Comme Ca, STK, Milos, Scarpetta, and Blue Ribbon. And, in true Andres style, he's keeping everyone guessing. In addition to launching another branch of his popular east coast tapas restaurants, Jaleo, his second eatery, with a still undisclosed name, will feature a Chinese-Mexican cuisine hybrid. It's almost like a one-off on Kogi's Mexican-Korean situation. Anyway, think front of the house tortilla makers and shumai wrapped in mango, certainly new flavor profiles from the molecular gastronomy master.
