AKA A Bistro Coming to Pas, Restaurant 2117 Adds Coffee Cafe, Camarena Taco Truck Freebies

WEST LA— Chef Hideyo Mitsuno of Restaurant 2117 on Sawtelle has been getting into coffee over the past few months inspired by a friend in Japan who was roasting small lots of beans in a pan on top of a charcoal fire. He began to play around with this method and decided to turn part of his restaurant to a coffeehouse called 2117 Coffee Café. The cafe took over the crepe stand that once rented out the front space.
