Colony Vs. MyStudio, SBE Takes Over Palihouse Vine Hotel

New, 4 comments

The LA Times takes a look a two newbies on the Hollywood block, David Judaken's MyStudio and Sam Nazarian's Colony. Both late night haunts have attracted Hollywood scenesters since their inceptions, and SBE head honcho Sam Nazarian describes this stretch of Hollywood as "L.A.'s answer to [Manhattan's] meatpacking district." He also deems his new Hamptons-inspired venue "iconic," meanwhile David Judaken says, "Colony looks like a well-thought-out venue and I'm sure [Sam] is going to enjoy all kinds of success in Hollywood." Sure sure. Also of note, Nazarian has other projects coming up (doesn't he always?), he is about to "announce another Hollywood-centric deal to manage and operate what's now known as the Palihouse Vine Hotel on Vine Street, also with a lounge component."
