Welcome back to the mid-week report of ply. See something we missed? Do drop us a line.
1) Brentwood: Healthy fast-casual chain Freshii is headed west and will open its first LA outpost next to La Salsa on San Vicente. Expect a late July/early August debut, with additional LA units to follow. [EaterWire]
2) Century City: Greenleaf Gourmet ChopShop, helmed by chef/owner John Rollo, is slated to open a second location in Century City, near the corner of Santa Monica Blvd on Century Park East. The casual eatery will feature a large outdoor patio and focus primarily on lunch service from 11AM-4PM during its initial opening. Greenleaf is also set to unveil a slightly updated menu to include more hot entrees and whole wheat thin crust pizzas. In the meantime, fans of the Beverly Hills location can help celebrate the restaurant's 2-Year Anniversary next week. As of yesterday, come by for 50% off all wine/beer and escalating discounts on food with each visit. See flyer above for more details. [EaterWire] — YI
3) West LA: Feast reports that Mediterranean eatery Rasbah will replace Sassoon’s Fine Arts on Pico. [Feast]
4) Venice: Campos Tacos on Lincoln has shuttered and in about two weeks it will be replaced by Benny's Tacos and Rotisserie. Expect (shocker) rotisserie meats and hand-made tortillas. [GS]
