SBE To Launch "Entirely New Restaurant Concept" at Palihouse Hollywood

New, 1 comment

Another day another hotel for SBE frontman, Sam Nazarian. Curbed has followed the slow progress of Palihouse Hollywood since last October, and apparently the hotel ran into financial delays, which is why it has remained quiet for quite some time. However, on Friday came word that Nazarian had signed on "to manage and operate what's now known as the Palihouse Vine Hotel on Vine Street, also with a lounge component," a sister property to Palihouse in West Hollywood. The official press release today confirms that "sbe will launch a new category, offering an contemporary approach to hospitality that features an innovative hotel suite experience and an entirely new restaurant concept."

SBE will partner with an unnamed creative director and "have ownership of the brand to launch in other markets." So, there's an expansionwire right off the bat. Further, SBE's revamp of the property begins this month "with a design that embodies the vibrant energy inspired by its Hollywood address." As for that new restaurant concept, the LA Times reports that the hotel's main eatery "will be a little more approachable in check average than Bazaar but equally exciting."
