Just in time for summer The NY Italian Ice Connection debuted its 12 flavors of Italian ice yesterday in the Valley. Owner Rob Spallone hails from NYC's Little Italy (shocker) and plans to mostly drive around the Valley, though for those near Hollywood with a hankering for an east coast frozen treat, the truck will be in the area later this week. The ices come sized in "skinny" and "fatsy," with flavors mostly named after mobsters like Cherry Capone, Bugsy Blue Raspberry, and Gotti Peaches. How cute. [EaterWire]
