Villains Tavern Headed For Downtown, Opening Next Month

New, 8 comments

Next month interior designer, restauranteur, and nightlife guru Dana Hollister (4100 Bar, Cliff's Edge Restaurant, Bordello Bar, Brite Spot Restaurant) adds another place to imbibe downtown with the introduction of Villains Tavern set to open mid next month. Come by for cocktails made with "squeezed to order" fresh juices (which could mean it might take a while to land a libation), boutique wines, and up to 28 beers on draft. And to sop up the booze, comfort food small plates will be on offer with a "'villainous twist." As for the design, take note of the 1600 square foot patio, actually two patios totaling 1600 square feet lined with church pews for seatage. Inside find deep red walls, an ancient bar that starts its life in The Bowery in NYC, vintage chandeliers, and a 14-foot high plate glass window lined with 600 jewel-toned antique bottles.
