Voyeur's Matt Bendik To Open Mezze in Old Sona Home

Sona is no more. West Hollywood locals may have noticed that last week an ABC liquor license application was posted on the outside of 401 North La Cienega, but who has claimed the space? Eater originally heard about this project six months ago when it was still homeless, but the men behind this venture are Matt Bendik, owner of Voyeur, Michael Kassar (formerly of Spago), chef Micah Wexler (Craft, Voyeur) and entrepreneur David Koral, who collectively make up Real Restaurant Group (RRG). They are currently in the process (legalities still pending so the deal is not done yet) of taking over the former David Myers space to open a Mediterranean-themed restaurant called Mezze.
