Anybody that was ever attempted to open a dining or drinking establishment in LA knows how impossible and time consuming the permitting and final inspection process can be. Hold on though, good news! A recently received press release brings word that LA has decided to streamline that entire process in effort to reduce the amount of time it takes to open a restaurant or bar. No word yet on when this plan goes into effect, but last night city officials gathered at First & Hope to discuss the endeavor. [EaterWire]
