Restaurant 3, formerly Cynthia's Restaurant, on West Third near Joan's has papered its windows and locked its doors - temporarily. Sources say they've closed for an indefinite period of time as ownership redevelops the concept, but the signage on the door says the place is "NOT for lease" and is only closed for renovations. However, renovations have yet to begin and staff has been given "vacation time,"unpaid. No word yet on when they plan to reopen. [EaterWire]
