Molly's Charbroiled Threatened By New Office Tower

New, 8 comments

Our sister site Curbed picks up on a situation in Hollywood involving ancient (by LA standards) burger shack Molly's Charbroiled and a shiny new eight story building which is slated to take over the ground on which Molly's sits. Constructed in 1953, Molly's may actually be eligible for listing as a historical cultural monument, and at a recent City Council meeting, the owner of Molly's asked for help to relocated the business. So, what's the outcome? Right now nothing, but Molly's could relocate to another part of Hollywood or to this under-construction parking lot.
