Izakaya Fu-Ga Opens Downtown, Moreton Fig Coming to USC, MORE!

DOWNTOWN— Grub Street reports that Izakaya Fu-Ga opened yesterday on San Pedro serving an Asian fusion menu. Right now the eatery (pictured above) offers dinner service, and come Monday, will commence lunch. [GS]

USC— The name has been confirmed and Moreton Fig, the eco-friendly, market-driven eatery from San Francisco-based Lark Creek Restaurant Group, debuts the third week of August at USC. The menu was designed by Bradley Ogden with the help of LC Restaurant Group VP Adrian Hoffman and will offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes in addition to the usual carnivorous fare.
