Houston Bros Claim The Stone Bar, New Concept On The Way

There have been a number of changes at long-time Thai Town haunt, The Stone Bar. While its facade remains the same, the place is newly hip since Mark and Johnny Houston (ahm, La Descarga) recently took it over. Clearly, the old management didn't know what they were doing before and neighbors are happy that the place is now running smoothly. For now the bar remains a place for live music, but exclusive events are also advertised around town. There's a door charge, and the bar hours/days open vary week to week. Word on the street is that the Houston brothers have a complete overhaul planned for the space though are still developing the new concept. More to come. — Daniela Galarza
