Jeffrey Cerciello's Farm Shop Slightly Delayed, More Details

New, 2 comments

Eater recently caught up with Jeffrey Cerciello at his forthcoming Farm Shop at the Brentwood Country Mart. Signage is up, though the opening has been delayed while the construction crews and architecture firm Commune await the city’s plan checks. Meanwhile, chef Joshua Drew and pastry chef Brittney Turnquist are on board to do the menu, market offerings, and catering. Drew hails from upstate, specifically Bouchon and Ad Hoc, where he was the senior sous chef. Turnquist also comes from the Keller family, having worked with Drew at Bouchon. With Cerciello at the helm of this ship, it’s like a Keller restaurant cousin! Farm Shop will feature a bakery, butcher, cured meats, larder and prepared foods section.

Fresh produce from local farms will rotate in the grocer section and Cerciello plus team will curate kitchewares. Linens designed for use at the cafe side of Farm Shop will also be for sale, and Heath Ceramics is collaborating on tabletop wares as well. There will be wine and beer both for sale to dine-in or take home, and home delivery of wares and prepared foods is also on the agenda. Whew! Is there anything this team can’t do? Here’s to a speedy and smooth opening!
