By now the sad news of the Ye Coach & Horses shutter has traveled across the blogosphere, which begs the question, who has claimed the space? Eater first heard it was "the people who own Jones and Swingers" and that they had plans to open another bar of sorts. Apparently, LAW heard the same such rumor. Next came news that specifically Sean MacPherson, who is responsible for Jones, Swingers, Roger Room, Bar Lubistch, that new undisclosed project on Third, among other venues, was in control of this takeover (plus potentially the Indian restaurant next door), and someone in the comments seems to have heard the same. The bar's final days of service are coming up this weekend, which means that the new owner will be able to move in right away. What have you heard? As always, additional tips welcome in the comments.
