Food Menu Coming To Library Bar, La Casita Chefs To Open La Tiendita Market, LAX "Eat-In" Recap

HOLLYWOOD— Within the next two weeks Library Bar in the Roosevelt Hotel plans to add a new (food) bar menu to compliment the curious cocktails creations of barman Matt Biancaniello. Eats will be crafted by Rainer Schwarz, executive chef at Dakota, the restaurant soon to be replaced by Public Kitchen & Bar. [EaterWire]

BELL— LAW shares news that ever-popular Mexican eatery La Casita Mexicana is in the process of converting part of its storage warehouse into a Mexican market called La Tiendita. The shop is expected to open in about three weeks and will sell candy, spices, chiles, moles, house-made seasoning, plus t-shirts and aprons. [LAW]

DOWNTOWN/LAX— Feast recaps that "eat-in" held earlier today at Patina amidst outside picketers who complained that they would be be able to afford the new airport food offerings.
