Gary Chau and Mark Wain have opened a third outpost of their popular coffee shop, Caffe Luxxe, in the Brentwood Country Mart. This location sports the same understated, vaguely European decor as the others, but incorporating more Walnut-toned wood. With cream colored walls, it’s a little like walking into a cappuccino. There’s a carefully curated shelf of merchandise on display, as at the other locations, featuring French soaps and coffee accoutrements. Bar stools dominate along the window and at the small central bar which also serves as a space to loiter around with your espresso shot. Outdoor seating provided by the Brentwood Country Mart makes for comfortable lounging.
Caffe Luxxe specializes in fine coffee art, and the perfection of a beautifully pulled cup each time. “Una bella tazza” translates into hand-selected beans and blends, freshly roasted coffee, ground and brewed to order. Caffe Luxxe is well known for their double ristretto shots -- the mahogany-colored foam thick at the top, with fragrant espresso below. There’s the same full menu of beverages at the new location and it’s likely that artisanal baked goods will be offered for sale as well in the future. Next door to the new Sweet Rose Creamery, this shall be a staple go-to spot for both coffee breaks and play dates. A one stop shop for coffee and cream.
