4) Echo Park: Daily Dish reports that Marta Teege a resident gardner and chef plans to open Cookbook, a co-op green grocer. 5) Mid-City: West 3rd Street is experiencing a renaissance of sorts. Later this month, Robata Jinya hopes to open their doors and join the new kids on the block. Management is putting the finishing touches on the interior including a robata grill, patio and front bar. [EaterWire] —DG

8) Culver City: A new Korean restaurant concept is deep in development at 12565 West Washington Boulevard, next door to gastropub Waterloo & City. The A-frame building that used to house a Mexican restaurant is now listed as being owned by The Kardashian Family Trust.
