MID-CITY— Grub Street brings word that Tacos El Paisano debuted on Venice Blvd near Hauser. Seems to serve a standard list of eats like of huevos rancheros, flautas, fajitas, etc. [GS]

HOLLYWOOD— In additional Mexican restaurant news, Te'Kila has been delayed yet again. New opening date, one week from today. [Thrillist]

K-TOWN— Next Saturday from 12-8PM actress Sandra Oh, Jonathan Gold, and Ludo Lefebvre will serve as judges at the second annual Korean BBQ Cook-Off. Admission is gratis, plates cost $5 a pop, and participating restaurants include: BCD Tofu House, Byul Gobchang, Cherry on Top, Chuncheon Dakgalbi, Coolhaus (?), Hamji Park, Hansong, Kalbi Burger, O Dae San, Olympic Restaurant, Parks BBQ, Scoops, Seoul Sausage Company, and Soowon Galbi.
