1) Playa Vista: Today proprietor Al Watson soft opens Sweet Fish Sushi Bar, a smallish modern Japanese spot at Pacific Promenade. Check out the digs above, open ceiling, flat screen tv, sushi bar seating, plus a handful of two and four tops scattered off to the right. 2) Mid-City: Also soft opening comes Rama, the Thai eatery which took over the Celadon space on Third. 3) Long Beach: Meanwhile, over by The Pike at Rainbow Harbor, Kitchen Den Bar, aka KDB, debuted on Wednesday. The massive sports bar offers all sorts of gaming including a full bowling alley and many of those games one would find at Dave & Buster's.
