DOWNTOWN Fun! LA gets a craft beer fest via Craft Beer Crawl organized by 213 (Cedd Moses' bar group) happening September 25. One glass, seven bars, five hours, some of which includes 7 Grand, Varnish, Las Perlas, Golden Gopher and Broadway Bar. Jonathan Gold has signed on to hold a VIP reception, and all beers all day long will be selected by The Beer Chicks, Christina Perozzi and Hallie Beaune. Roll VIP for $89, general admission for $49, or the first 100 can score the early bird special for $39. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Heal the Bay. [EaterWire]

VENICE DD brings word of an new farmers market of sorts called Food Rendezvous. The goal? To bring together local artisans and showcase hand-crafted products likes jams, oils, pickles, and more. Tix cost $10 now or $15 at the door. [DD]
