SANTA MONICA Hole-in-the-wall Arabic eatery Sham introduced a new line of desserts (many of which involve ice cream) two weeks ago. [EaterWire]

HOLLYWOOD Te'Kila JUST opened on Hollywood Blvd (remember that whole $300 burrito ordeal?), and apparently chef Sevan Azarian has already departed. Feast reports that the restaurant/bar will be shuttered for the next three days to retool the menu. [Feast]

SANTA MONICA Construction finally started about two weeks ago at 606 Boradway, the bottom portion of a new Living at Santa Monica apartment building. According to Grub Street the space will become Hostaria Del Piccolo, an offshoot from Venice's quaint beachside Italian haunt, Piccolo. [GS]
