It's out with the old, in with the new lately along South Beverly Drive. This year alone we've seen The South Beverly Grill, Momed, and Saffron open their doors. Nearby, Gourmandise Chocolates (not the same as Gourmandise Desserts in Venice) shuttered about a week and a half ago. No word from ownership on the shop that originated in Paris and then made Beverly Hills its home some years ago. Gourmandise specialized in wedding favors, chocolates, and was known for its silvered and custom tinted dragees. The space has been cleared out and is now for lease. Gourmandise is still taking larger catering orders through their website.
