Technique Restaurant Opens at Le Cordon Bleu Pas

We've been following that corner of real estate at Colorado and Oakland for over half the year, and now Brigham Yen reports that Technique restaurant at Le Cordon Bleu officially opens today. On Monday the restaurant held a soft opening for friends and family of Le Cordon Bleu students and the early word is that the eatery has added a fair amount of pedestrian activity to Colorado Blvd. Inside expect a simply designed space, white on white walls, tall columns connecting to the soaring ceiling, and classic movies projected onto those white walls. The menu itself is relatively inexpensive (dinner salads $5-$14; entrees $9-$19) and quite a hodgepodge both for lunch and dinner. Pick from international tapas like grilled haloumi cheese, roasted bone marrow, and char sul ribs, then on to more American eats including a grilled caesar salad, fried chicken, and coffee braised short ribs. Not to mention the fig and prosciutto pizza, and the squash blossom burrata pie. Solid menu, lower cost, open for lunch and dinner M-F, 11AM-2PM, 5PM-9PM.
