Sunset Beer Company Coming to Echo Park

Seems like LA's experiencing a craft beer revolution from Eagle Rock Brewery to The Beer Chicks to The Surly Goat to general events around town. Therefore, it comes as no surprise to hear that beer superstore Cap n' Cork is about to get a new competitor via Sunset Beer Company, a 2,000 square foot microbrew shop and tasting room appearing in Echo Park on, well, Sunset.

Helmed by John Nugent and wife Jennifer (Colorado Wine Co.), along with partners Jenna Miller-Vonah and Andrew Vonah (also investors in Eagle Rock Brewery) this beer haven is set to debut early next year stocking everything from Unibroue Blanche de Chambly to the more esoteric and harder to find bottles from Russian River.
