Jeremy Berlin Succeeds Joshua Smith at Church & State

Back in February Joshua Smith took over kitchen stadium at Church & State as Walter Manzke departed to pursue a restaurant venture of his own. Over the past seven months Smith added many new dishes to the restaurant's menu while continuing to cook Manzke standouts. Now, news just in that Smith, too, has left the French bistro and in his place comes chef Jeremy Berlin.

Berlin studied in NYC at the FCI, then cooked across town at predominantly French restaurants like Payard, Le Bernardin, and Gordon Ramsay at the London NYC. He moved west to help open Gordon Ramsay at the London West Hollywood but as of today he has taken over kitchen duties for Smith. Developing. [EaterWire]
