1) Santa Monica: The old Citrus Valley froyo shop has finalllllly been claimed. Just steps away from Broadway Alehouse and Joe's Pizza comes Thai Dishes. Peering inside, total mess, this one looks at least a month or two from opening. [EaterWire] 2) Culver City: In more former froyo news, the old Cantaloop space on Main Steet will become an Indian restaurant rumored to be called Bistro Kabob. Should open shortly. [EaterWire]

3) Century City: Grub Street brings word that BJ's Brewhouse will debut a new outpost in the Westfield mall next spring. [GS]

4) Burbank: Also set to launch spring 2011 is another branch of Vietnamese eatery Gingergrass. The new smaller space will open on Magnolia Boulevard and offer a paired down menu as compared to the Silver Lake original. [Feast]
