News on the Cube front. The La Brea restaurant and market will undergo minor interior renovations as its existing private dining room is expanded into the space that currently occupies its semi-private wine room. Once complete, around the end of October, the new room will accommodate up to 20 people, instead of 12 like it did before, with Cube's wine collection on display via built-in shelving around the room's perimeter. Guests will sit around a rectangular communal table made from teak with teak benches. [EaterWire]
