Chris Breed To Open Soul Food Eatery on Hollywood Blvd

New, 8 comments

Consider this report wayyy early since plans have not yet been approved for this project, but in an additional dose of Sunset Entertainment Group news (Pig 'n' Whistle, Cabana Club), head honcho Chris Breed plans to retool the shuttered Lickity Split space (now serving as a temporary home for Red Line Tours) into a soul food concept. In the above shot note the convenience to Pig 'n' Whistle, Eater also hears that this forthcoming restaurant will have some type of relationship to its neighbor, the Egyptian Theatre, so whether it will serve food to movie goers or something of that nature remains to be seen. As long as FiveOFour doesn't shutter, this could be a direct competitior in the soul food arena. [EaterWire]
