The Langham Debuts New Bar The Tap Room Tomorrow

New, 1 comment

In addition to that whole restaurant revamp, The Langham in Pasadena tomorrow introduces its new bar The Tap Room, named after the hotel's first bar from the 1930s. Check out the rendering above, both contemporary and traditional design elements, all pretty standard, created by The Johnson Studio. There's the exposed ceiling, mixed seating options, and mahogany paneling, plus an outdoor patio but with this crazy heat lately one might be best suited staying indoors, especially in Pas. As for libations, both new school and old school creations, in addition to a bevy of craft beers: Unibroue Blanche De Chambly, Chimay White “Tripel,” Spaten Oktoberfest, Franziskaner Hefeweizen, Morland’s Old Speckled Hen, Birra Moretti, Green Flash West Coast IPA and North Coast Old Rasputin. While the main show goes down in The Royce, cravings can also be quelled here via "upscale" bar food like Lobster Corn Dogs, and Kobe Beef Patty Melt Sliders.
