Consumer Reports ran a study comparing name brand food products to grocery store brands and found sometimes the store brands were as tasty or even tastier than their pricier counterparts. If you're looking to save some cash, canned chicken soup, orange juice and hot dogs are good bets, but taste tests showed it might be worth it to splurge a little on mayonnaise, mozzarella, and frozen french fries.
