DOWNTOWN blogdowntown confirms that boutique French macaron confectionary, Paulette, opened its second location on Saturday afternoon. Apparently, following the debut, the shop sold out of all macarons in under four hours. Sheesh. [blogdowntown]

WEHO Just about a year ago ancient Sunset Strip staple, Dukes, underwent an interior remodel and gained a proud new owner, Kelly Li. However, more changes underway, and now Adam Newton of NYC's nighttime haunt, Cafeteria, has taken the reins and added later hours, brought back old menu favorites, and plans to revive the rock 'n' roll theme. He also will open a new bar just above Dukes called Morrison's, named after Jim Morrison since the space once served as his apartment. [EaterWire]

BEVERLY HILLS Grub Street shares interior photos plus food porn from newly opened Tarte Tatin which (sadly) replaced fan-favorite, Housenka. And, to answer the many emails Eater has received about Housenka potentially reopening elsewhere, sorry kids, still no dice. Anyway, hop over to GS for the baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and breakfast rundown. [GS]

MID-CITY Remember that Newport Beach-based bakery at The Grove we spied back in April? Well, Wonderland Bakery is currently set to debut early October. [EaterWire]

WEHO In addition to partnering on that new Morimoto restaurant under construction in Hollywood, interior designer Thomas Schoos has signed on to remodel O-Bar and will also open a Thomas Schoos retail store in the coming months. [EaterWire]
