Always on the move, next week George Abou-Daoud (District, Mercantile) plans to debut his newest concept Gelatovino, a namesake gelato and dessert wine bar nestled between Delancey and The Mission Cantina on Sunset Blvd. The idea is to offer 24 unique gelato flavors along with 10 to 12 dessert wines. Categories on the abbreviated list include "crisp & cool," "bubbly," on the Port side, "luscious" and "wild things." So far gelato flavors include: Caramel & Sea Salt, Downtown Brown Ale, Barberra, Bourbon, Fernet Branca Menthe, Thai Iced Tea, Strawberry, Pistachio, Espresso, Cookies & Cream, Earl Gray, Meyer Lemon and more.
