Xandros' Adam Kariotoglou Pens Formal Shutter Letter

New, 26 comments

Nothing but drama and lies pouring out of team Xandros, the three month old Greek restaurant on La Cienega that once boasted "live Greek dancers." First there were rumors of debt and deceit, and shortly thereafter owner Adam Kariotoglou was served an eviction notice AND was caught on surveillance camera swiping restaurant loot (restaurant signage, chairs, a cappuccino machine). He has finally, publically, acknowledged the fall of Xandros in this letter sent out to employees:

"To All Vendors & Employees~ We regret to inform you that we have closed My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Franchise Group, LLC dba X A N D R O S a Greek restaurant. Due to the economy, investor issues, and other factors we were forced to close our doors and we will not reopen. My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Franchise Group, LLC is dissolved. We apologize for any inconvenience or hardship this may have caused you or your company. To contact us please forward any correspondence to; PO Box 3362 Bellevue, WA 98009 attention Desiree York. We wish you all the very best and hope 2011 is a better year for all of us. Sincerely, Adam Kariotoglou."
