Hide those boxes of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, toss the canned Campbell's soup, because Jamie Oliver is coming to town. Or rather, is already in town (with family in tow). The Food Network chef and visionary behind the first season of the Emmy Award-winning series Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution films season two right here in Los Angeles, though he can't seem to get even a mere foot into any LA school cafeterias. Maybe second time's a charm? Probably not because "an L.A. Unified spokesman Monday said there is no chance for a change of heart." BOOM.
Tomorrow Jamie's Kitchen opens in Westwood and will offer free cooking classes. Regardless whether Oliver is able to penetrate LA schools, he "plans to work with families in their homes and with supermarkets and fast-food purveyors." Season two airs this spring.
